The Zakon o informacijski varnosti (ZInfV-1) is a Slovenian law on information security, enhancing the national cybersecurity system and transposing Directive (EU) 2022/2555 (NIS2) into Slovenian law. It regulates the field of information security and measures to achieve a high level of security of networks and information systems in Slovenia, which are essential for the smooth functioning of the state in all security situations and provide essential services for the preservation of key social and economic activities. The law includes self-registration, preventive measures, incident reporting, and defines obligations for essential and important entities. It also covers certification, information sharing, and supervision, contributing to strengthening the cybersecurity resilience of the economy.
